MEC Employees Watch the Military Parade in Commemoration of the Eightieth Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression

On September 3^rd, the military parade in commemoration of the 80^th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held on Tian’anmen Square, Beijing. Employees of MEC Group watched live broadcast of the grand parade in the main conference room.

It was 8am in the morning, and employees gathered in the conference room, waiting for the commencement of the parade with great excitement. Accompanied by majestic music, Mr. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, rode in a Hongqi vehicle eastward along Chang'an Avenue as he inspected the foot formations, battle flag formations and armament columns in turn. And then, the parade began. It was the first of such event since China embarked on a new journey toward advancing modernization with Chinese characteristics, representing PLA’s brand new image as it marches toward the next centenary. As the foot formations, armament columns and aerial echelons passed through the square, the conference room was punctuated by bursts of gasps. At this moment, everyone in the room was profoundly moved by our nation's formidable military might, feeling immense pride in being Chinese.
