A Happy Lantern Festival Celebrated with Riddle Quiz

On February 12^th, in celebration of the Lantern Festival, a unique event themed by Lantern Festival riddle quiz was organized in MEC Group. Employees participated with great enthusiasm, filling the entire office with a joyful festive atmosphere.

With red lanterns hanging in the office, colorful paper slips swung with the wind, each having a riddle written on it. Most of the riddles had something to do with idioms, word puzzles or general knowledge of everyday life. Overwhelmed by the riddles all at once, employees then quickly began to search for the answers. Some sank themselves intosolo meditation, some formed alliances to tap the potential of collective wisdom, while others talked to each other and humbly asked for advice. Although our colleagues were usually busy with their work, they took this opportunity to get closer to each other. After some “painful”brainstorming activities, many employees succeeded in guessing the answers to some of the riddles and happily redeemed their prizes - Tang Yuan, i.e. balls made of glutinous rice flour, which symbolizes reunion of families during the Lantern Festival. With a big smile on their faces, the winners said that the riddle quiz event was so interesting that they not only got relaxed after a stressful work, but also experienced the charm of traditional culture. An extra bonus: our team cohesion was significantly enhanced through the event.

By organizing the Lantern Festival riddle quiz event, MEC Group successfully provided employees with a joyful holiday experience, helping the participants broaden their knowledge and enhance mutual communication in the process of solving the riddles. In a strong festive atmosphere, the traditional Chinese culture was inherited and promoted, while a more harmonious and comfortable working environment was created within the Group.
