MEC Group 2024 Annual Work Summary and Recognition Ceremony

On January 22^nd, 2025, MEC Group successfully held an Annual Work Summary and Recognition Ceremony for the year 2024. The ceremony was chaired by Ms. Yuan Meiyan, Vice President of MEC Group. More than 200 representatives including members of senior management team, functional leaders and managers/employees from all levels participated in the ceremony in person or virtually.

Mr. Wang Shuanghong, Vice Chairman and President of the Group delivered a work report titled Marching forward against All Thorns to the participants. In the report Mr. Wang made a comprehensive and meticulous summary of the Group’s KPIs and the results of priorities in FY2024. Meanwhile, Mr. Wang also announced a systematic deployment plan for the KPIs and priorities in FY2025, which drew a clear blueprint and provided clear guidelines for the direction of subsidiaries at all levels in the new year.

And then, three employee representatives carefully selected by the Group namely Yang Jie, Wang Di and Fa Jingqi went on the stage in turn to share some highlights in their work during the past year.

Those representatives were followed by Mr. Kang Jian, Chairman and CEO of the Group, who made a speech titled Keeping on the Track Together with Team MEC to the audience. In his speech, Mr. Kang firstly took stock of the Group’s key achievements in FY2024. Over the past year, in the face of a complex and difficult situation, our traditional business lines continued to play a critical role as the stabilizer, laying a solid foundation for the Group’s steady growth. At the same time, our emerging business lines also showed vigorous vitality, becoming the new engine driving further development of the Group. Our functional departments also fulfilled their duties and responsibilities satisfactorily, and the priorities identified by the Board at the beginning of the year turned out to be very fruitful. In addition, Mr. Kang put forward clear requirements on the year to come for the participants. At the operational level, the Group will focus on the two core themes, namely survival and development; at the management level, we will work to secure our cash flow and scientific control. At the same time, we will lay stress on promoting the growth of emerging business lines, quickening the pace of transformation and upgrading, and striving to meet the Group’s goal of high-quality growth.

As the last topic of the ceremony, top performers, work champions and advanced groups identified for the year 2024 were formally recognized. International Trade Company and the Finance Department were granted the title of Advanced Group for their outstanding performance in the past year. More than 20 excellent employees from all levels of the Group were also awarded the honorary titles of Work Champion and Top Performer by virtue of their outstanding achievements in their respective roles. Those groups and individuals honored will become role models for all employees in the new year, inspiring the entire Team MEC to work even harder and pursue excellence in the future.

This year’s summary and recognition ceremony is not only a review and commendation of the achievements made in the last year, but also a clarion call for a new journey. The Group will take this opportunity as a new start, continue to stay true with the spirit of innovation as we forge ahead towards the higher goal, and strive to compose a more brilliant chapter of development in the history of Team MEC.
